Ohio winters are hard on the outside of a house, so fall is the time to get ahead of it. Clean the gutters so melting snow has somewhere to go, check the fascia and soffit for soft spots and gaps, look over the fence for loose posts before the freeze, and clear leaves away from the foundation.
